Account & Data Deletion

Sign in with the email address you use for Jubiday, then confirm below. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

Jubiday is local-first, and the cloud copy is optional. If you only want the online backup gone — keeping your account and your purchase — open your dashboard. It shows whether a backup exists and when it was last updated, and gives you a confirmation-protected action that deletes only your own backup. You can also withdraw backup consent there or in the app, which stops any new backups immediately.

Your Jubiday account and sign-in email, your profile record, your cloud backup consent setting, and the cloud backup stored for your account. Deletion happens straight away, and residual backup copies are cleared within 30 days.

Celebrations saved only on your phone are removed when you uninstall the app or clear its data — that copy never leaves your device.

If you are changing phones rather than leaving, do not delete anything. Re-install Jubiday from the same store account, verify and sign in with the same email address, and the app can restore your last known backup. See the verified-email restore guide for the exact steps.

Purchase records held by Google Play or the Apple App Store belong to those stores, not to Jubiday — we cannot delete them, and they are what let you re-install the app for free later. We also keep minimal records where the law requires it (for example basic billing or fraud-prevention logs), and messages you sent us through the contact form until they are resolved.

Deletion requires a signed-in, verified account, requests travel over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), and row-level access rules mean an action can only ever touch the data belonging to the signed-in account. No service can promise perfect security, so we describe the controls we use rather than making absolute claims.

Open Jubiday, go to Settings → Account → Delete account, and confirm. The app performs the same permanent deletion as this page.

Send a deletion request through our contact form from the email address on the account. We confirm ownership and complete the deletion within 30 days.
